Anaerobic Primers/Adhesion Promoters/Cure Accelerators serve the purpose of promoting the bond between a substrate and adhesive and speeds the cure rate. It is particularly useful in bonding applications for less active metals such as stainless steel, zinc, pure aluminum, cadmium, silver, gold, or chemical black oxides. However, the activators are used to activate and are considered the second cure component of acrylic structural adhesives. When the adhesive comes in contact with an activator, it cures rapidly at room temperature. |
